IPL Fantasy League 2021 – Match 16, RCB vs RR – Fantasy Tips

alt-title

The 16th match in this IPL 2021 season will start at 7:30 PM IST, between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Mumbai. In this article, let us discuss the Season Long Fantasy League team setup for Match 16.

RCB have won all three matches in the league so far and RR have just won one match out of three. It is a change of venue for RCB now (Chennai To Mumbai). RR batting is highly reliant on Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. It is very important for these two to play big innings, to stand a winning chance against in-form RCB.

RR plays two matches in three days span. RCB plays their next two matches in four days span. So, it is good to transfer as many good players as possible from both these teams, whom we can carry to their next match. Even if a player fails in one match, he might give good points in the other match.

MI and PBKS play their next match tomorrow. So, we should not be transferring any good players from these two teams. We currently have two RR players in our team and we will make two transfers for this match.

Players available for the Current Match: Sanju Samson (RR), Chetan Sakariya (RR)

Number of Transfers: Two (+ One Uncapped)

Number of transfers Remaining: 86

Transfer Out:

Moeen Ali (CSK): CSK plays their next match in four days. We will bring Moeen Ali back again for the next CSK match.

Nitish Rana (CSK): We will bring Nitish Rana to the KKR next match using free uncapped transfer.

M. Ashwin (PBKS): Punjab Kings plays their next match tomorrow. So we can bring him using free uncapped transfer if required.

Transfer In:

Jos Buttler (RR): Since RR is playing two matches in three days, Jos Buttler is a must-have in every season fantasy team. He started well in the last match. A big knock is due from him. Hopefully, it will come in one of these matches.

Glenn Maxwell (RCB): Glenn Maxwell is in brilliant form this season. His batting position is also fixed at second down. So he is getting enough time at the crease to make a good score. If he takes advantage of the relatively smaller Mumbai ground, it will turn out to be a good run-fest.

Other Players:

If you have room for additional players in your fantasy team, there are other good players available to transfer in. The order of preference for the players: 1) Chris Morris 2) Virat Kohli 3) AB de Villiers

Uncapped Transfer In:

Harshal Patel (RCB): Harshal Patel is bowling beautifully and is holding the purple cap. Considering that this match is in Mumbai, he might not be as threatening as in Chennai matches. Still, we transferred him as we have a mandatory bowler slot vacant in our team.

There are other good uncapped player options available for this match. Manan Vohra was very disappointing and he might be replaced by another uncapped opener Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The order of preference is 1) Devdutt Padikkal (RCB) 2) Shahbaz Ahmed (if bats at three) (RCB) 3) Yashasvi Jaiswal 4) Rahul Tewatia (RR) 5) Riyan Parag (RR)

Our Fantasy Team:

Captain: Jos Buttler (RR)

Vice Captain: Glenn Maxwell (RCB)

Sanju Samson is highly inconsistent. He has a good threat from Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohd Siraj. Glenn Maxwell bats at four. So we make Jos Buttler as Captain as he opens the batting and we will make the in-form Maxwell as the Vice-Captain for this match.
