With the counting of days left for the IPL to begin, the excitement of the tournament is only going to increase with the addition of two new teams. New teams have attempted to engage the fans with a fresh stance, meanwhile, defending IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday unveiled their new jersey for the 15th season of the IPL.
In the video released by CSK, it can be seen that the captain of the team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) showed the new jersey open. The new jersey has a 'camouflage' design on the shoulder while the team logo has four stars. Chennai Super Kings will play their first match in IPL 2022 against Kolkata Knight Riders on 26 March at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Last year too, as a mark of respect to the Indian Army, CSK made this design on the jersey. Four stars means four IPL titles (2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021). On the left corner of the shirt is the logo of a roaring lion of CSK. The new jersey also bears the logo of CSK's main sponsor TVS Eurogrip.
